Capacity Building

For many countries capacity building is the key to an improved quality of life. By assisting countries in dealing with issues that are most important to them, ATAC will help create a collaborative environment that breed’s productivity and forward thinking. Capacity building or security development is the process by which countries, municipalities, and societies increase their abilities.  ATAC Global takes you where you are now and where you want to be, starting with establishing framework, to a fully functional, scalable security solution.

Capacity building begins at the micro level with the individual and eventually growing to encompass the macro level of local communities and eventually to the entire economy. ATAC’s capacity building focuses on building safe, secure and long-term processes and systems in the areas of internal defense, security and education. These developments will in turn assist these economies with attracting multinational businesses ultimately creating a long term, self-perpetuating cycle that fosters sustained improvement.

Public trust in the ability to mitigate or resolve situations before they escalate affects each country, state and city alike. Lack of public trust and confidence has the potential to turn the public into chaos and disruption. Public trust is ongoing and must be earned, not expected. Proper capacity building and war-gaming past, current and future events to retain the public confidence that your country, state and city has the capacity to deal with the worse case scenario.

Capacity building courses does not only applies to countries but also:

  • Boarder Patrol Specialized Units
  • Headquarters and Dwelling Asset
  • Port Security
  • Maritime Security Operators
  • Shipboard Security

Capacity building is not something that happens over night rather it is a system, which, begins with identifying a need state. Once appropriate need states are identified then enters the objective phase. The objective phase is where all parties are identified and brought together to develop the best approach and working plan.

Finally, utilizing ATACs vast network and global resources, the appropriate team will then be assembled in conjunction with local nationals to create long term sustainable institutions.
