Dominick Donald recently addressed an audience at the 3rd Safety4Sea Forum in Athens, focusing on the drop in Somali-based pirates and what it means for the shipping industry moving forward.

Dr. Donald is the Director of Aegis Advisory, a specialist business-intelligence consultancy located in the United States.

Safety4Sea forum coveres a wide range of quality, safety, health and environment topics. This past conference was attended by 350 representatives from 175 companies that have an interest in maritime safety and security. The event is operated by the SQE Marine Consulting Group, and includes sponsorship from  Aspida Maritime Security, Dorian Hellas, Transmar Shipping and Seamar Management SA and supported by NAMEPA, Green Award, ELINT, IFSMA, Maritime Piracy Humanitarian Response Programme, SaveOurSeafarers and InterManager.
